Ivo Mueller

After a PhD in epidemiology at the Swiss Tropical Institute, Prof. Mueller spent 10 year working at the PNG Institute of Medical Research (incl. as the head of the Vector Borne Diseases Unit and as Deputy Director for Science) before joining WEHI and CRESIB in late 2010. His research focuses on different aspects of malaria epidemiology, the acquisition of immunity, host genetic adaptation, treatment and prevention of malarial infections and parasite population genetics, all with a particular focus on P. vivax
