Jafar Jabbari

Jafar has graduated with a PhD from University of Adelaide in the field of Functional Genomics. With over a decade of experience, he has pioneered the development of cutting-edge genomics technologies utilizing both long- and short massively parallel sequencing platforms within academic and non-profit sectors. Jafar’s extensive methodological repertoire spans diverse areas including metagenomics, single-cell omics, cancer research, basic biology, and genomics-based diagnostics tests.
At WEHI’s Advanced Genomics Laboratory he continues his work at genomics innovation and development capacity in areas of interest to internal and external academic and industry collaborators, fostering partnerships and driving advancements in genomics applications.
